Nurseries in Plumstead

Hi all, I'm fairly new to Plumstead (well actually to the whole of the Greenwich borough!) I used to live in north-west London. I've mastered where the supermarkets are now with my two year old and I'm slowly building up my knowledge of where the best centres/towns to shop in.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the local nurseries here please? I'm close to Herbet Road and I've found Eglinton Primary School and Nightingale Primary School, both of which have a 'good' ofsted rating. Any mummies here have their kid(s) attend any of these nurseries, if so what are your thoughts? Or should I be expanding my search?
I'd love to hear what other mummies have to say Smile
Thanks in advance Flowers X

Hi Mandy

My daughter used to attend eglinton nursery when we first moved into the area and i found it really good, only changed as it was becoming a struggle to get there from work and pick her up on time as I was also heavily pregnant and a place eventually became available at plumstead day nursery, (although its not all that great anymore). I have friends whose kids attended Little Herbert's day nursery and said it was good.

I wouldn't say there is any need to expand your search if the nurseries near your are good as from experience the further it is from home the more difficult pick ups and drop offs can be, especially when one returns to work.

Hope this helps
