Hi there, I've recently completed my training as a Midwife and am due to start quite soon full time. Does anyone know of or give me advice on how I can find reliable regular/flexible babysitters for my 21 month year old. He already goes to nursery 2 days a week at Bright Horizons and loves it but due to mine and my chef husbands long hours we will most likely need help to pick up from nursery and put him to bed as I will get home around 9pm. As our rotas change each week, it won't be able to be set. I'd love to meet a couple of lovely babysitters who want to babysit on a weekly basis for us as I don't want my son to get used to them.
I've been scouring sites, Gumtree and other "childcare" sites but it seems in order to contact people you have to subscribe. It feels like finding a needle in a haystack at the moment.... Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. We live in Stockwell btw.
