Hello Brockleyites. I am looking ahead to the next 5 years and a possible move to the area from Nunhead. Locals and friends who have missed out tell me you've got to be basically got to be 0.4 m or less. Given it's measured from the park, the nearest properties are 0.15 miles. The school says the furthest in each band is 0.6 but to be safe will 0.3 be ok? Can't afford the naice big houses on the park itself sadly!

And siblings, hear that around half the intake is siblings but will that change given Haberdashers is now locked out to children who didn't enter the Monson or their free school. (my daughters go to Waller and I'd like to keep them there)

Many thanks for any anecdotal info. Bests

just saw this (don't venture onto locals much!)

have you checked the distances as published by Lewisham?

1,085 (band 3) is the shortest and 1,912 (2A) the furthest, which is pretty tight but maybe not so bad as you think?

(these are in metres, of course, don't know equiv in miles- I'm going thro Y6 transfer atm so know the Lewisham secondary schools brochure backwards!)

as for moving- look at Ladywell, or Crofton Park, maybe? Ladywell is v v close to the school, it's really lovely (if a bit sleepy)-plus you'll have a bit more change moving from SE15 to SE13 than you would to SE4 and be on the doorstep

oh, and anecdotally- there's a lot more choice in Lewisham than there was a few years ago, where people thought PHF and HA were the only viable options. You might well find in time that the catchment gets wider
