Holy Trinity or Marshgate Primary?

Hi, I am new to the board. My family and I are returning to our home in Richmond from a secondment abroad. My little one will be starting reception in 2015, and our two closest primary schools are holy trinity and marshgate. I've looked over all the online info/ofsted etc and had family members attend the recent school tours - I'm looking for more first hand experience with these two schools, pros and cons. On paper marshgate seems like the better choice to put down as first choice on our application?

HI. We already have 2 children (Yr 5 and Yr 2) at Holy Trinity plus a third starting reception in '15. We have had a very positive experience. They provide a nurturing environment and are ambitious for the children. They strive to ensure that each child is able to achieve the best that they can. My children have made lovely friendships. I have no direct experience of other schools however we are pleased that we chose to Holy Trinity. I'm sure you will find other parents to vouch for Marshgate so in the end it comes down to what suits your family best and how close you live to the school.
