Advice on street(s) to move to

Currently in a quiet leafy bit of Highbury, N1. Has a little village feel with a few local nice shops and some very friendly neighbours and families. Very little traffic noise or overhead flight noise. Almost silent on the street at night. Very close to a amazing high street (Upper Street). Couple of nice parks and green spaces within 5 mins walk.

Which specific streets would you suggest I look at in H&F to get a similar "feel"?

(4-5 bed terraced house, 20-40 ft garden)

For similar feel I would look round ravenscourt park / brackenbury village areas

Thanks Teabaglady!

Would you say that is the area bound by Goldhawk Road to the west, Hammersmith Grove to the east, Goldhawk Road to the north and King St to the south.

I presume I would want to keep my distance from all those main roads and the railtracks of the district and met lines too.

Is Aldensley Road sort of the "village" centre?

Sounds about right, I wouldn't worry too much about living near the main roads, they are not massive roads. Near brook green or some of the roads off shepherds bush road are also nice . Best thing is have a day out in the area, go to ravenscourt park and them wander round.
