Chislehurst St Nicholas CoE Primary School

Hi, I am looking to purchase a property within 1 mile to this school. Very keen on a faith school but a little nervous that if DC (20 months now) don't get offered a place, the surrounding primary schools don't look very encouraging and certainly non are CoE schools. Is it silly to buy a house with only 1 school to fall back on? We won't be able to afford to go private.

Can anyone share their thoughts on how difficult it is to get a place in this school? We are anglican church members so will have our vicar sign us off as regular members. Is the surrounding area a nice neighbourhood? Coming from Surrey Quays London (South East London close to London Bridge), the impression I get of Chislehurst is that it is a very quiet residential area and you certainly get a lot for your money (compared to where I am now).

Appreciate your thoughts about this school and any recommendation on CoE schools (we are not RC) in Bromley.
