School advise

Hi, does anyone have any kids who attend Dunard primary or Cleveden secondary? I would really like to put an offer for a flat which is in this catchment area but don't know anyone with kids at these schools. Does anyone have any experience of putting in placement requests from this area to the likes of Hyndland primary / secondary? Thanks in advance for any advice/information anyone can give.

My kids are currently at Kelvindale but will be going to Cleveden (eldest one will go next year). Know quite a few of her friends' older siblings who go to Cleveden and are doing well and really enjoying it. Headteacher appears to be very welcoming and open to parents visiting the school to find out more. Also know quite a few kids from Kelvindale have had placing requests to Hyndland. HTH.

Thanks for the information ladybump. I don't actually have any kids of school age but I'm due in January and we are trying to plan ahead. Just not sure whether to buy a house in an area where I'm ot too sure about the schools. Thanks again. Any further information from anyone is appreciated.??
