NHS, NCT or other antenatal classes?

Hello,
I am expecting my first baby and as a first time mum-to-be I'm a little lost in the woods. I have been looking at the various options for antenatal classes in Cambridge and would like some advice on which one to choose. Also if anyone knows of any pregnancy meet up groups or nice antenatal yoga places, do tell. Thanks ever so much for your time.

I am going to Sharon's Yogabirth classes and I am loving it. They are every Tuesday between 730 and 930: www.yogabirthcambridge.co.uk/
It is also a very nice way to meet other pregnant women. At the end of the class we are always having tea and cookies.

Thanks for your message Rosemarie, the yogabirth classes sound really nice. I'll mail Sharon to sign up. How far along are you?

I'm still in touch with one of my NCT group 7 years on! Our teacher was Alison Marcus who was very good.

I Would definitely recommend NCT classes. The classes were great and my NCT group were a huge support during Mat Leave and beyond (my son J's now 4). It' say great way to meet like minded people with babies the same age and be prepared for birth/early days at the same time!

My son is now 4. Grrr autocorrect :(

Hi everyone, I'm a mum of a 4 year old and a 2 year old and after struggling to find a fulfilling role on a part-time basis that would enable me to progress my career and spend time with my kids, I decided to set up a Jobshare Network www.ginibee.com. I'm on a mission to help others who are in the same boat and am running my first workshops this week on Wednesday 17th and Saturday 20th September. If you would like to meet a group of people who are interested in meeting Jobshare partners and learn how to create a successful partnership so you can access full-time careers together please register at www.ginibee.com

I'd also be interested in any thoughts or experiences you have on Jobsharing.

Thank you :)

oops, I think I've posted this in the wrong place. Sorry everyone if that's confusing :)

I went to Pregnancy Yoga at www.yoga4everybody.co.uk/ at the Oak Tree Centre in Huntingdon and found it to be fun, weird and helpful for both of my pregnancies. I also went to aqua natal at One Leisure, this was really helpful and in fact my waters broke after a session with my first! I hope that's helpful :)
