Hello everyone
I live in Reading, but am currently training to become a Child Psychotherapist in London. One of the requirements of the course is that we have to undertake what is known as infant observations on a weekly basis. This is to help get a thorough understanding of child development and also the formations of new relationships in a family.
These observations have to be carried out in the family's home, and the baby needs to be under one month old when the process begins.
My favour is to ask you if you know of any women who are going to be due late September-November time who would be interested in allowing me to come and sit with them for an hour each week. There is no therapy involved and no monetary payments either.
I would expect that anyone interested would want to check this out thoroughly with the training, meet me and ensure my CRB credentials before committing to anything.
As I am in Reading, the mother and baby would also have to be within ok traveling distance.
