sixth form from cartmel?

Hoping there might be someone out there to help me...
We will be moving to the cartmel area at the point of my Dd being 16 for sixth form or college.. where do you go if you live in cartmel? Is there much school transport available as that's all a nightmare with the government cutbacks...
I know cartmel secondary doesn't have a sixth form..

the choices are usually Dallam - bus but i think you'd have to pay

Ulverston Victoria or Barrow 6th Form - train would be the best option

Others go to Lancaster Grammer - either boys or girls - train is easy

and a few to Queen Elizabeth in Kirkby Lonsdale - some teachers commute with a people carrier i think

Transport has had some big cuts in Cumbria but I'm not sure about 5th for funding
