I've got involved with a project to create a 'Museum of Fun' as a free event on October 5th in Whitstable Umbrella Centre.
We'll fill it with science experiments, art and all kinds of things, some of which will be made in free workshops in the lead up. We haven't had much publicity about this, as we're putting it together rather quickly(!) So if you came to one of our workshops that would be great. Or just spread the word. :)
They take place in the Horsebridge centre mainly on Saturdays in September, and we have a few volunteers giving their time to run these.

Most of the workshops are hands on family activities for parents to do with kids.
This is all a free community thing, and anyone who wants to get involved or suggest ideas for things to do is welcome to get involved. :)
