Rowans - admissions question

Starting to panic... I registered DS for a place at Rowans (and Squirrels actually) when he was approximately 6 weeks old thinking that was loads of time. I think I might have been a bit naive in thinking this was plenty of time...

Has anyone got any hopeful stories for me about getting a place?

Also - where else should I try or is it just far too late now? Was going to register for Rokeby as that is ballot only. How about Willington?

Hmm. This sounds depressing Sad. Hopefully someone will be along shortly to reassure you, Spencerette.

Read an article recently (think in The Sunday Times) that was suggesting (only partly tongue in cheek) that for some London nurseries, one basically has to put DCs names on the waiting list when they're conceived!!! There also seems to be a flourishing industry in hiring educational consultants to get your children into the right nurseries, pre-preps, preps etc...
