Do people in Northumberland not use the internet?

I have lived in Northumberland for 4 years now and struggle to make friends. Northumbrian presence on the internet seems to be limited beyond the sales and wants group! How does a non-local make friends? Any tips?

Did you have any luck? I moved to Blyth last October, have a job here but still feel a little lost without having a friend or family member around the corner.

Hi All,

I've just moved to the Northumberland area 4 weeks ago! Yet to make any new friends! However enjoying keeping myself to myself in a way, due to past experiences down south where I moved from, however I would love to get to know some new people, even if it's online as I currently don't drive, unless of course I luckily get to meet someone from my area :D

I live a 3 minute drive south of Amble Marina :D
