Hi, I have 4 children and 3 are dyslexic. 2 have gone through main stream schooling with extra help from tutors, but are gifted in sport. Our 4th child is v dyslexic but does not have a "thing" to shine in, so is very difficult (and heart breaking) to keep his self esteem high.
We are starting to think about different schooling options, maybe private, a state schools that caters for dyslexia or have fab SEN teachers.
Can anyone offer any advise on alternative schools, has anyone received a statement for dyslexia, can anyone recommend a school in the st Albans area that have catered for dyslexic children.
