I am curious if anyone else out there breastfeeds beyond the age 1? I'm breastfeeding my DD still, but I'm getting increasing pressure to stop. I don't want to as I feel it's good for her and I'm at home so it's not difficult and anyway the WHO and Unicef advise breastfeeding until at least 2... but there is a lot of stigma associated with it and my mother in law is now working on my DH and even he is starting to be critical. But my DD is only 18 months old. I used to breastfeed very openly, but now I feel like I have to hide it, I was totally not expecting that!
