Knitting in Pret A Manger Woking

To the lady whose little boy was seemingly fascinated by my knitting in Pret Woking this afternoon; I'm sorry I was so shy, I didn't mean to seem rude! Your children were adorable and so well behaved, and it's lovely that they were so intrigued by it! I'm glad he guessed right that it was a hat! :)

As one fellow knitter (who is sometimes quite shy) to another, can I advise that next time you say to the parent(s) of the children "Your children are a credit to you - so well behaved!". I make a point of doing this when I'm impressed, and it really does make their day! You're nice to say it as an afterthought, though. Smile

I'm not a knitter myself, however I think that is very sweet. I'm interested in getting started though. Maybe we could start a Surrey MumsNet knitting group in future ;-)
