Hope it's ok to post in chat for more traffic! DH and I considering moving to Otley or Skipton (but have also been considering Ilkley, South Craven etc). We need to stay within an easyish commute of Saltaire so Harrogate etc out and we don't want to live any closer to Leeds than Otley and don't want to live in Kirklees. The main reason for moving is for schools but we also fancy somewhere with more life but a bit closer to the countryside. We're currently near a very quiet village near Keighley and Bingley. Any thoughts on schools, houses, the demographic, and things to do for families very much welcomed!
