I'd very much appreciate any current views on Motspur park or the surrounding areas. New jobs in London mean need to move into easy commuting distance to Waterloo. We have a 5 year old and with our budget of £550k looking for a large 3, but preferably a 4 bedroom place. From looking around, this seems just about attainable in the area.
Typical concerns really, primary schools - and I suppose in turn secondary schools, definitely need a reasonable commute to Waterloo, safe area, etc.
If you are able to give any views on any of the following that would be great:
- Pros/Cons of Motspur Park.
- Any areas you think are particularly worth a look / be wary of.
- What about the surrounding areas - going by station names: Malden Manor, Worcester Park, Raynes Park, New Malden etc. We have some friends in MP, but will be giving other areas strong consideration if there are good reasons.
- Any views on Primary schools? Any changes or 'trends' that seem noticable? I was looking at West Wimbledon school, it has an excellent Ofsted, but when I looked on a map it seemed a bit penned in by the main road, retail park and small residential area. Any views on this or others will be well recieved :)
- Anything else?
