Childminder in Herne Hill

We would be grateful for any recommendations of childminders in the Herne Hill/Brixton area for our 1 year-old baby. Ofsted really frustrating as all "outstanding" providers in Lambeth are anonymised and so we are unable to identify through that route. Young Lambeth has a list of those that have chosen to register with the council but that isn't comprehensive and there is little detail on the individuals... So, would be incredibly grateful if anyone would be kind enough to let me know of those operating in the area who have a great reputation. Thanks in advance!!

My daughters old childminder is based on Lyham Road (5mins walk from the windmill in Brixton). We only left her because we've moved from the area. Her name is Debbie Lyon 07984566260. She's out every day with the kids to groups etc and has a car so even during half term when everything is closed, she'll find an activity to keep them busy. She also has a garden with a trampoline, sandpit and all sorts of other play things.

Debbie is our current childminder and my son has been with her since he was 1 (he's 3 now) and I would happily recommend her. Our son will be starting nursery in Sept so we will be leaving in the next week or so. When I originally looked (21/2 years ago) I got a list from the council and it had all the childminders in my area with their Ofstead grading. Also try the local children's centres they do childminder drop ins and are happy for parents to come along to meet with the childminders - Effa Childrens Centre is probably the closest for you.
