we are moving from abroad & our older son aged 5 got accepted to the French School at Ealing. We are now wondering were to set up our home takin into consideration that my husband is going to work in the Amersham area.
We are currently looking at South Ealing, Chorleywood & Northwood as we want a 3 bedroom appartment with garden for around 2,000 pounds that minimize the commuting time for my husband and I.
We found 1 property in Chorleywood that without traffic takes 25 minutes to go to the school (19 miles) and another one in Northwood that is also 25 minutes but just 9 miles. We are very scared that with the London traffic this commuting time will be exponentially increased. Can anyone help me understand how much commuting time should we normally expect?
