We are just about to move to East Grinstead, well we are in the process of selling our flat in London with the plan to being to move to East Grinstead, but we haven't quite found a house to buy so we may rent initially...anyway, its all terribly exciting! Currently our favourite way to spend Saturday is in East Grinstead looking at 6 or so properties followed by a nice pub dinner....We went to the Wiremill on Saturday...super nice!
My concern/worry is that we have twin daughters who will be starting in year 6 in September - I am not too worried about which primary school they go to as its only for a year and they are both fairly bright...but I am very confused by the admissions process for secondary schools. I have had a number of chats with the admissions team, but they seem unable to tell me if there is a specific catchment area for Imberhorne...is there one? Does it depend on which primary school you go to? Do they really not take distance into account at all? Any help or advice will be gratefully received!
