viewlands or oakbank primary?

hi all
we've just moved to Perth with our children and have been told that we are in the catchments for both Viewlands Primary and Oakbank Primary. Obviously, being new to the area and because the schools are currently on holiday, we haven't been able to find out much about the schools other than what is on their internet sites so any thoughts/guidance/knowledge that anyone has, would be brilliant.

Hi, my children attend a school in Perthshire village but I have friends who are both teachers (secondary head teacher & guidance teacher) and they choose to send their children to Oakbank. It feeds in to Perth High, whereas Viewlands feeds in to Perth Academy - both are good schools but in the last few years, Perth High has attained better academic results. Hope this helps ! I also visited Oakbank before we moved to Perthshire and I thought it had a lovely feel.
