Need for another nursery in Blackhall?

Hi there

I'm investigating demand for a new nursery in Blackhall with a view to setting one up, and would welcome some opinions.

I'm aware of Blackhall Nursery in the park, but all 28 places there seem to be taken, and only morning or afternoon places are offered.

The nursery I have in mind would be open from 8/8.30am to 5.45pm and would offer educational classes of early phonics and numbers, and structured play led by qualified teachers. Places would be available for either morning, afternoon or all-day attendance.

I think you're missing a trick by not opening earlier at 7.30 and staying open till 6pm. So many parents don't start at 9.

I'd look for a nursery with an earlier start time as I start at 8.15am.

Am I presuming that this would just be for 3-5 year olds and not for the younger age group? Will you be open all year round?
