Hi everyone, I'm a mum of 2 teenagers but they don't live with me at the moment.I have mental health problems and had gradually isolated myself and my kids.
My question is has anyone any ideas what I can do that is cheap when I see them which is every weekend I see them separately one one weekend and the other one the other weekend.
I have done quite a few things with them expensive and not too expensive,we have been to the museum and had lunch sat on the green, simple things my daughter loves but its getting difficult to find things to do with my son.any suggestions will be greatly received,I can just about manage to get buses but have to pay for the children so that puts cost up.
I am expected to buy them lunch when out.
Thank you.

hi there, good for you for thinking to ask online for help!
just a few first thoughts: country walk and picnic (maybe along the canal), carboot sale (with spending limit, or a competition/ challenge to find something for eg £1), nail painting session - if you can have them back home.. hire canoe at exeter quay go to double locks for a cake (take your own drinks) sorry i cant remember how much this was but i dont think it is a lot.. explore haldon forest park - free except for buses
