I'm going back to work in October and desperately seeking suitable childcare for my son who will be around 10mths then. I have found a nursery I like but now wondering if a childminder would give him more 1:1 attention in a homely environment. I have started looking, but it is very daunting, so was wondering if any one has any recommendations. My main requirements are:
- i live in lee and work near blackheath village so would need to be in that area.
- childminder must provide home cooked food, preferably no ready meals/chicken nuggets etc.
- access to a garden or regular outings
- preferable to childminder looking after no more than 4 children
- childminder to understand and take in to consideration my sons routine
I understand the childminder won't be me and won't be perfect but really need to find someone I feel confident looking after my son.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful :-)
