Working Mums advice please!

Hi there
I'm moving back to Scotland with my 2.5 year old, most probably Edinburgh, in a few months time but am having difficulty finding which agencies/websites to look at to find work. I know mumsnet maybe isn't the ideal place to look for this but am unable to find any local forums etc. If anyone can please give any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

what types of jobs would you be looking for?

Aaah yes I should have added that! I've worked in the finance sector for around 20 years doing research and presentations with a bit of PA work thrown in. The only website I know of is s1jobs.com but there doesn't seem to much on there

s1 jobs is quiet over school hols. Agency wise, its been a while but I reckon you would do well joining as many as you can. Off the top of my head, some financial services recruiters are Hays, Change, Hudson, Reed.

Hudson and Brook Street supply most of the financial sector jobs (IME) so definitely sign up with both of those, as well as the others mentioned by waitingforgodot.

When I came across nearly 8 years ago I took a copy of my CV into all the temp agencies based around George Street (that was more for PA/Administrative roles).

I think Select also does some financial sector stuff?

Ladies thank you SO much! I live in London atm but will be in Edinburgh next week to go to estate agents etc. so I'll get my cv brushed up and hand it in. Unless my euromillions win comes in before that lol! Thanks again x
