Has anyone got a child go to woodside school?
Do you think the school is improving?

This awful. What I saw on utube that the teachers dancing and getting drunk, at Woodside school after school.

I removed my daughters from Woodside in 2012. They were happy there but I was increasingly concerned by the fact that my children who are very bright and articulate were telling me that they were 'bored'. I found the teachers generally very dedicated and focused, but not necessarily on more able children.

BTW I think what they do after school providing its legal, is their own business as long as there were no children around, I don't have a problem with them having a party on site.

if it is legal to pary on site .I do not understand why they took the video off utube.

You saying that the teachers are dedicate, but my child receives
homwork sometime.

When another primary schools give Homework every Friday.

Woodside school teacher do not care about my child.
They just want to have pary.
When I went to parent evening the teacher give me 5 minutes of her time,
and I did not get a chance to ask question about child progress.

my child has told me , that class assistant slap my child.
Now I can not do anything about it , because the class has been changed.
most class assistant are not like that.

Which this happening in Woodside school

Are most school teacher like this when they tell the children to be patient, and you not baby, and can not go toilet.

My child teacher told my child that you can not go toilet, then the
child end up wetting the clothes

I am so depression , because that my child told me the classroom assistant slapped my child. I can not do anything about it , because the class has changed.
but not all classroom assistant are like that.

The teachers like having parties, and the teachers do not have time to give homework to the children.

I regard I put my child in this school.

I'm quite confused why you can't take the matter forward if you say your child has been slapped by a teacher. Whether the class has changed or not is neither here or there, its a serious incident.

My daughter attends this school, and from day of school admissions, this was my last choice. I didn't get into any of my preferred schools.
Well i am keeping my fingers crossed that my daughter gets into the school that was always my first choice, by the time summer holidays finish.

It was classroom assisant , who slapped my child not the teacher at woodside school.

It wouldn't matter if it was a caretaker, something would of been done, if the matter was taken further.

I know if that was my child, i wouldn't rest until it was sorted

I think it has since the new headmaster.
But for my own personal choice i really want my daughter to go to my first school preference.

some teacher and Classroon assistant they had party at woodside school . The Woodside school is place to learn for children.

They should not have party at the school , because it place to learn and they should go out clubbing if want dances and have party.
or book Hall for their parties.

Frankly your posts don't make sense and are borderline abusive and libelous.
Calling teachers stupid does not help your case.
What evidence do you have your child was assaulted? What action did you take? When my child attended you could speak to any teacher for as long as you wanted at the start and end of every day.
These are all issues that should be addressed to the school and not to a forum IMHO.
Teachers are entitled to have a workplace party like any other group of employees.
The school is improving hugely under new headmaster Shane Tewes formerly of outstanding school Hillyfields. Class sizes are to decrease to 15 children- unheard of in the state sector and akin to private school ratios. Believe me this school will be outstanding in the next few years.
My child used to attend until we moved to Redbridge last year and now attends Churchfields.
The problem with Woodside is that it is perceived as a sink school and so prospective parents from better off backgrounds see that the makeup of children are solely from poor,first generation ESL backgrounds, take fright and choose the local faith schools and state schools instead.

All other schools in Waltham forest their teachers do have party like woodside school. I should know , because my friends' children go school in waltham forest, which not woodside school.

most parent says the school is rubbish , and my child is not learning anything or not or they say not that much.
