Area with good primary schools and city feel

Looking to move to Leeds.
DD is 6 so good primary school is top of list. I have lived in Bham all my life so somewhere that feels a city would be great, with good restaurants and places to take DD to. Our budget for a house is the £160k -£180k mark.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by city feel? There are various neighbourhoods which have their own centres, so restaurants etc. e.g. Headingley, Roundhay, Chapel Allerton, Horsforth. Each has their own feel, so Headingley has a big student base, Chapel Allerton is more young professionals and so on.

I used to live in Meanwood which is between Headingley and Chapel Allerton, has a nice park, a couple of bars and restaurants, a Waitrose. Very good CofE primary if you can get into it. Carr Manor primary is also good.

In terms of schools in general there are good ones and not so good everywhere. This is a comprehensive list.
