We are looking for an apprentice age 16-18 to learn to manufacture bespoke curtains, blinds and cushions. The candidate would work towards completing a 3 year craft apprenticeship certificate leading to a diploma put together by the Worshipful Company of Upholders and AMUSF.

Work description:
- Learning to make all aspects Curtains, Roman blinds and Cushions
- Learning to use a sewing machine and hand tools
- Booking in and measuring fabrics
- Cutting fabrics to pattern match
- Tidying up the workshop
- General assistance in the workshop eg. filling and packing cushions
- Hours: 9.00am -5.00pm
- Wage: £160 per week, reviewed after 6 months
The above would be the first steps progressing to more skilled work and assisting with dressing in on site installations.
Prior interest in sewing or craft skills is an advantage.
