Is there any free local courses for sewing?

I am looking to expand on my skill of sewing with sewing machine. At the moment i work from home and make Asian clothes and do Alteration of and clothes. I would like to go to the next step and expand on my business. Can any one help?

We are lucky to have a number of free sewing classes and workshops in Tower Hamlets. If you check Adult Classes section of our directory you'll find several listings you may find helpful.

For instance:

1. Creative stitchcraft with creche

An Award Winner in the Family Learning Room
Adult's sewing and craft classes. They are suitable for beginners and people with more experience. There is a crèche facility in the same room.
The school where this class is being run is located not far from Aldgate station (City of London), but residents of Tower Hamlets also can attend the classes.

2. Stitches in Time

There are 2 classes on Monday for Beginners/Intermediate (10-12:30pm) and Advanced (12:30-14:30pm). Designers teach there a wide variety of sewing related and craft workshops to anyone passionate about sewing, at the same time providing a skill for life and giving you the confidence to transform your sewing ability from a sewing novice into a sewing expert.

3. Sewing class at Link centre

This class is also very similar to the above mentioned.

I have contacted linc centre and will be on the waiting list. Ishaa Allah if the time works around my daughter who will be attending playgroup, then i will enrole.
