Hi there, I am totally new to this, so I apologise in advance for typos, bad Mumsnet etiquette etc
My DD (8) has language processing disorder a recent diagnosis. We are moving her from her current main stream school to a smaller one. We haven't found a specialist school that we think will suit her needs socially. Equally as important as the academic side for any 8 yr old as bubbly and communicative as mine.
We would like to put into place a permanent LSA within school for her ideally one with experience with children in a speech and language issues, although I realise this is a big ask. If anyone knows where I can start looking for this I would be enormously grateful. We are also keen for any recommendations of a speech and language therapist in the Berks/Bucks area.
