Mums to be/mums in Woodley?

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have just moved to Woodley. It would be great to meet mums to be or mums in the area.

Hi Rachel,

Congratulations on the impending arrival of your little one. Fingers crossed for a smooth delivery!

We have lots of baby groups listed in our 'What's On' categories, that can be a great way to meet local mums and parents. I hope to get a Mumsnet Meet Up running soon which could also be a fantastic way to meet other local families, I will update the site with these details as soon as I can.

Hopefully some more local mums will be about soon to say hello, but I am Caversham based and always happy to make new friends and play dates for my little ones.

Thanks for the advice re meetups. I have been to the NCT one at Bills which I enjoyed. I would also be interested in helping out with meetups if needed or organising one in Woodley. I don't have a car during the day so ideally would like to meet people quite close to where I live.

I am running pregnancy yoga classes in East Reading (Hamilton Road Children's Centre - next to the University). It is a great place to meet other mums to be and I am pretty sure I have got another mum in Woodley coming along who is a similar number of weeks pregnancy.

It is Wednesdays 6.45-8pm at HRCC, 135 Bulmershe Road RG1 5SG. £7 drop-in or £20 for 4-week block.

Suitable from 14 weeks.

Thanks for your message. I do enjoy yoga, but don't think I will make it to the pregnancy class now as I am close to the end! I will have a look at your post natal classes though.
