Hello,
My name is Emma, and I'm an MA Events and Exhibitions Management student at Birmingham City University. As my final assessment, I have organised an educational children's theatre performance to be held at Umberslade Farm on Friday 11th July, at 4pm.
'The Tale of Umberslade Farm' is a completely interactive, hands-on performance that will keep your children entertained and thoroughly engaged. It is approximately one hour long, and there is no chance of our young audience becoming restless - the performance moves to different areas around the farm and there will be lots of activities and tasks to complete.
The performance uses the typically English characters from the stories of Beatrix Potter; the children will meet Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggywinkle, Squirrel Nutkin, Farmer McGregor, and the famous authoress herself.
The focus of the performance is really teaching young children about farming, healthy eating and growing vegetables in an engaging and fun way. The idea is that they will be able to make an informed decision when it comes to buying their own food in the future.
For more information, please have a look at my website www.potoftrix.co.uk. Alternatively, email me if you have any questions or would like to confirm your attendance.
It's a unique and lively theatre performance, that is educational but still completely entertaining, aimed at children and adults alike!
Hope to see you on the farm soon,
Emma Cann
