Hello everyone,
I am new to Mumsnet. I am just over 40 years old, and I live in Hitchin and am currently going through the Adoption process and plan to be a single adopter for a preschool age little one.
I hope to make new friends, am sure I will need lots of support and advice on my journey. All my friends now have grown up children would be great to hear of others if you have been through the process.
I am keen to get local opinions on primary schools as we will be lucky to get a priority placement. I am not only considering the Ofsted reports as the schools need to be really good in understanding some background difficulties and ability to support these.
Would be great to hear from anyone
