Hi there
Can anyone recommend a good childminder in Harborne? Moving to Birmingham from London in September and need a caring experienced and flexible childminder with a nice house with lots of space and big garden! Does anyone have any personal recommendations? I have a Birmingham council list but was hoping to narrow it down.

Does anyone have any experience of a good nursery in the area?
Many thanks

Hi Nkemo, I'll ask around for you re childminders.

I have heard nice things about the Busy Bees nursery near the hospital.

Hi nkemo,

I know of a childminder in the area, she is lovely and very good, I've only used her once or twice for school pick ups but have heard good things from others.

I can't pm from my phone but if you pm me I can reply with her details if you are still looking.

Whereabouts in Harborne will you be moving to?

Lots of good nurseries nearby, Highfields and Norfolk House in particular.

The University of Birmingham has two nurseries, one very near Harborne; info is here. They are very popular so might not have a slot but worth calling them up.

I can recommend Norfolk House Nursery, lovely and warm atmosphere!
They have 2 locations, one on Norfolk Road and a new nursery that's just opened on Harborne Road.
