Summer Holidays Tutor - 5 year old

Help and advice appreciated. Our 5 year old daughter is just finishing her reception year. The school is great and she took to it like a duck to water.

She loves school, is keen to get her hand up and join in, in class, bounces out the door each day to get there and has made progress over the year.

She has however found numbers and sentence forming tricky to get to stick, so we were thinking about looking for a tutor or TA who could help bolster her confidence in the areas she finds most tricky with a few sessions over the summer holidays, so she is confident going into year 1.

Can anyone recommemd a local TA who does that sort of thing or a local tutor in Sutton Coldfield?

This isn't tried-and-tested I'm afraid, OP, but these people are listed in our Tutors for Primary School Children section (above):

They may be able to help, or at least you can see what their rates are. A friend used a different firm for a few weeks last summer and her 5-year-old daughter loved it, and grew in confidence. It was this, and they did one-to-one tuition in a room full of other tutees in a room off Sainsbury's:

They probably have a branch near you. And you get to do the weekly shop whilst she learns (handy!).

I was surprised though. My DS1 would have absolutely hated this when he was 5 - just wants to spend his summer running, climbing and sword fighting, which seems about right at this age for him.
