Above says it all, 14 year old been recently (very recently) been diagnosed with M.E./ C.F.S We are a bit isolated, 17 miles from Hexham, and I am a single parent with hardly any support (elderly mother) and we are a bit frazzled/lost/scared at the moment. I have to work which means leaving a teenager who can hardly move alone all day :( .. I would appreciate any practical, PRACTICAL!! help. If you have a teenager with M.E aged 13 up who is positive and would be interested in chatting, skyping, blogging with my daughter that would be great. Or if you know any stuff I should know, do, be fighting for, then please tell me. x Cat

Hi catbell I don't have any experience of M.E/C.F.S so can't really offer any useful advice but I didn't want to leave this unanswered.

Have you checked out if there are any Facebook groups for teenage M.E/C.F.S sufferers that your daughter could join? If there is, they will be people who she can chat to, discuss any worries and hopefully get some advice and ideas.
Sorry I'm not much help.
