Hi mums, I will keep it short.. I was hoping to start a par time pgce at open university but they have informed me that they no longer have it.... I have a MA v production but absolutely sure I do not want to teach media. I have a German level about A2 and currently hopping to pass my B2 and B1. My question is is anyone doing or has recently done or knows anyone doing a part time/flexible/distance PGCE Modern foreign languages. Thanks(I think that was short) :-)

You would do better posting on the main Mumsnet board, under Higher Education, Education or the Staff Room. However PGCEs are becoming less common, and its a lot more school centred initial teacher training - maybe talk to schools such as George Abbot and Guildford High school which do train teachers (and teach German).
