Hello,
We just moved to Richmond and my 11 and 9 year old daughters would like to find a summer volleyball camp. Any suggestions?

Orleans park school has a good volley ball coach. Mr Goalen. might be worth contacting them to see if he knows of anything or is running anything

Hello. Did you find any volleyball recommendations? I am trying to connect to Richmond volleyball and they are not responding. Your post came up in search. Thank you

Are you looking for male/female, junior/adult, beginner/experienced, recreational/competitive? Richmond Volleyball are the local club and very succesful but they are run by volunteers and sometimes struggle to meet demand. The girls division always seems to have a waiting list. They run beach sessions at Teddington"s Broom Park in summer, but its mostly indoors between September and April. They're doing beginners/intermediate adults sessions at Teddington Sports Centre.

There are also beach courts at Barn Elms but they're not connected to RVB.

If you have any coaching experience and are willing to volunteer, then they might get back to you faster.

Its worth following their social media feeds.

Hi mabletable, thanks for the extra info. It’s for a 14yo with some casual playing experience. So close to beginner and junior. I would not have a clue so can’t coach for my life.

Ok, tricky, Richmond are a national championship winning club so they get a lot of enquiries. This season's indoor training groups started at the beginning of Sept so may be full now. If you don't hear anything you could try the Volleyball England website or the London Volleyball Association for info on other clubs within travelling distance. There's an organisation called Volleyball Development Camps that does training in Cobham in the holidays - expensive but good.

Thanks very much. My daughter found a local school that runs lessons weekly, I think it’s good enough to start and maybe by next year she will have better chance to join as more experienced player.

Sounds good. She could also join the grass volleyball sessions that RVB's Social Division is running at Old Deer Park: richmondbeach.teamapp.com/?_webpage=v1
