Craft workshop course idea for new Mums - what do you think?

Hello everyone,

I have an idea that I want to run by you all...

I want to start a craft workshop course for new Mums. I've designed a 4 week course with one session a week lasting about an hour. All participants will be able to bring their babies along. The atmosphere will be relaxed - lots of time to chat, drink tea and eat cake! A lovely way to meet new Mums or for an antenatal group to take part in.

You'll learn a new craft skill in each of the lessons, designed around your baby in mind. For example, turning your baby's lovely little newborn baby grow into a beautiful keepsake (instead of keeping it in a special box in the loft, never to be seen again).

You could also learn how to make a cake topper out of fondant icing - something you could use on your baby's Baptism/Christening cake - or even for their first birthday (and by doing so it will help you keep your costs down for these special events).

The course will not require any previous sewing or cake decorating experience. All equipment and materials will be provided (apart from the baby grow of your choice) and you'll be able to take your masterpiece home at the end of each session.

So... what do you think? Would any of you sign up for this exciting course? And if so, what would you be happy to pay for a 4 week course like this?

I look forward to hearing from you!

From a very excited crafty Mum keen to share her skills!!!
