Does anyone fancy being the Cambridge Local Ambassador for Cambridge Mumsnet? We just need someone who is happy to organise daytime get togethers. It absolutely does not have to be every week - maybe a couple a month to make sure those coming onto the site and signing up to the Meet Up section are getting out and about.
It can be lonely at home with the DCs and this could be a great way to meet other parents.
Let me know if you're interested. It is an unpaid position but I will ask local theatres / cinemas for complimentary tickets which you'd get first refusal for by way of thanks. It would suit someone who does this sort of thing anyway... there's very little work involved & there's already a Cambridge Facebook page which would really help / alongside this website.
