Cleaner / help for my Mum

Just starting to look for recommendations for a cleaner and possible helper for my Mum in Wilmslow. It would be for a regular weekly clean, but also ad hoc help. Mum is pretty fit and healthy but sometimes gets dizzy spells and has to be in bed for a few days so needs someone who she is familiar with who could come in, make her some lunch and perhaps do a bit of extra cleaning at these times.

Have you tried posting in the jobs section on the main MN board too?

Another thought, I would contact the primary/secondary schools near to where you Mum lives, many have newsletters/local jobs boards that you could put your request in. Some school also have Facebook and twitter pages/accounts, so it would be worth doing a little research.

Just sounds like the sort of job for a local Mum/person who lives more or less round the corner from where your Mum is.

You could also contact the local Age Concern www.ageuk.org.uk/cheshire/about-age-uk-cheshire/ as they could help you with finding someone local.
