Dear mums,
Do you find the cost of nursing in London excessive?
Does the cost of nursing prevent you from going back to work, as 1/3 (if not more) of your revenue will be eating away by the high cost of nursing your loved one?
Example:
Cost of a babysitter: 7.5£ per hour.
Considering a 9 hours care (9-6pm or 8-5pm) : 67.5£
Considering a month (21 day care) : 1417£
Does it make sense to go back to work...?
We have come up with a solution: Crowd Nursing!
The principle is easy.
- 3 mums with their loved one gather
- They have good affinity, they are living at manageable distance from each other they decide to Crowd Nursing.
- Select and run interview for a babysitter
- They like one, she is pick up.
- They choose the place where the nursing would take place (At Mum house 1 or Mum house 2 or Mum house 3)
- They drop their child at the decided place and time
- They pick their child at the decided time and place
Simple!
The benefits?
- The cost of nursing will drop from a 1417£ per person/per month to a mere 472£ per person/per month for a full time day care in London.
- Your child interact with other child of his age.
- You know your child is safe.
- you meet other mum and make new friends!
I'm looking for other mums to join me in for the search for a common babysitter who could take collectively of our kids.
I hope you will find this idea interesting!
I'm looking forward to hearing from you,
Mum Alex
