Hen do in Richmond

I am organising a hen do in Richmond and would be grateful for any ideas anyone has as it is not an area I know. Ideally I would like an activity for the afternoon; supper in a private room; and a decent bar/club to go on to. Any thoughts very much appreciated.

the Bingham is good and apparently does private dining. The petersham and has a nice private room but poss a bit traditional.

Not sure about afternoon activities, will think about it. All I can come up with is a boat trip or pottery cafe - bit uninspiring!
