Baby-sitter

We live in Trumpington and we are looking for a baby-sitter with references to call occasionally (evening times) for our 5 years old son. Anyone to recommend? Thanks

We use Sitters.co.uk (agency)
It's not that expensive and really convenient. Disadvantage is that you don't necessarily get the same sitter all the time (in practice we often do).
We often used sitters from nursery before that but they often weren't available, and even let us down at the last minute on a couple of occasions (not for decent reasons either, always got the impression they had just decided they wanted to go out with mates instead!). Apparently sitters are quite strict on that front - if people keep letting customers down then they don't use them any more!
If you are looking for a local teenager or similar, and you get no joy on here, you could try a facebook local group for your area if there is one?
