Hi, my boyfriend and I have decided to look to move out of london. He is planning on selling his flat in clapham. I work in Richmond and he works in Paddington and we are looking for suitable areas to commute from. We thought Reading or surrounding areas might be suitable. We also have good friends in Bristol area so it would be good to be out West of London
Can anyone recommend where are the better areas of Reading and surrounding villages? Our budget will be around 600-750,000, looking for places with good primary and secondary schools but also convenient commutes into london. Finally, we are both still only 30 so ideally some where with a bit of life to keep us interested!
Any suggestions or similar experiences would be appreciated.
