Bournemouth & Poole Meet Up

Hello everyone!

As summer is hopefully drawing closer I think the time is right for a MN meet up.

The meet up will be held at The Village on Castle Lane in Bournemouth at 8pm on Friday 13th June. If that date is no good then please let me know and we can look at choosing a different one.

Please post below if you're coming along. I met a couple of lovely MNers yesterday and would love to meet some more.

Hello, I am newish to Bournemouth area and have been meaning to come along to an MN meet up, but haven't been able to make the last couple so not committed myself.

But this time I can make it and its in my diary, so am looking forward to it.

I am not sure I can make it, but if I can, if I am looking at the right venue, I see Village is a big place, like some kind of resort, hotel? Is there a specific place you plan to meet, or will you release details of this nearer the day!

There is a restaurant and a bar/pub at the Village www.village-hotels.co.uk/hotels/bournemouth/eat-drink/. I think the pub would be the best place to meet.

I'll let you know what I'm wearing so you know who to look for. I'm not sure what colour hair I'll have yet so I'll let you know that too.

P.S. By strange coincidence, I coloured my hair rather dramatically yesterday. I think its what you could kindly describe a being at a "half way house" stage. I should be easy to spot.

Yes, I'll be there at 8. Probably won't be able to stay too long, but look forward to nonetheless. I'll be carrying or reading a bright yellow book with a smiley on it

P.S. Never been there before, but I see thee is a pub in the Urban Village called Victory Pub and Kitchen, assume that's it ...?

Yes the Victory Pub. I think I'll be wearing a flowery jackety thing and jeans. My hair is a very boring brown!

I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it after all. I have to go to a meeting and I doubt I'll be able to get to the pub before 9.30. Have a good evening those who go and here's to the next one!
