I am a single mom thinking of relocating to Leeds to work and settle down with my son. He is mixed race (not that it matters) and I am looking for somewhere good to live for both of us, work-wise and where there is good and not too expensive childcare plus good schools. This might be a very generalised question but would be good to get some tips:) What is the price for a childminder and best areas to live in where people are friendly and open minded (even though this is of course mixed everywhere) any recommendations are appreciated. I also love a bit of culture and not too quiet place since both of us are quite active.
