Hi all, looking for suggestions for activities and family friendly places to eat in Stirling. Got to entertain kids (3 and 9wks) on my own for a day while DH is on a course! Staying at bannockburn Travelodge and will have car to get into town. Went to uni in Stirling so fairly familiar with street names etc just not family activities! Thanks :-)

Just saw this and take it you have already been and gone!

Hopefully you found something to do, for future in case you come again -

nice weather activities:

Safari Park
Briarlands farm
Wellsfield farm nr Denny
Kingspark or causweyhead park
Trip to uni to feed the ducks

Indoor:

Swimming pool - peak or Uni
Soft play - bearheart castle or there's one in Springkerse at the pub I think if it's still there.
Might still be stuff at the macrobert at the uni - not sure what's still there now
also sure they do movies that you can take babies into there

For food there are all the usual suspects, Frankie and Bennys, Nandos, pizza express etc but also Papa joes is nice and child friendly, we like the coffee bothy too.
