Crochet groups in Coulsdon?

I've recently started crochet and would be interested in going along to a crochet group, to chat, learn and improve! Anyone know of any suitable groups? There seem to be a lot for knitters - would they know about crochet too?

Made some hats,rugs, hair bands for my little girl!

Havent heard of a group but tbh not looked very hard!

Apparently there is a crochet group that meet at Christ Church in Purley on Friday mornings.

Have you had chance to try the one at Christ Church yet - or have you found an alternative?

Weirdly, I go to Christchurch in Purley on Fridays for Sing & Sign class and had noticed some ladies with wool etc in the cafe on my way out. Not sure I would be able to join them as I'd have DD with me wanting lunch & nap, but I will certainly try to stop and chat to them to find out more!
